Sleep Studies (FAQ's)
Q: What is a sleep study?
A: A sleep study gives a baseline reading if you have sleep apnea, which is if you stop breathing while you sleep.
Q: What happens if I have sleep apnea?
A: Depending on how severe the sleep apnea is, your doctor will give the recommendation to have a titration study or refer you to a Pulmonologist.
Q: What is a titration study?
A: A titration study determines if you need to get treated with a CPAP or BiPAP machine. Measurements are taken during this process so the equipment best fits you to provide the right amount of oxygen while you sleep.
